We are excited to invite local schools to participate in our Student Volunteers Afternoon Tea, celebrating the incredible contributions of young volunteers in Pearce. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognise students who are making a positive impact in your school and the wider community.
We encourage schools to submit as many nominations as they wish, as we would love to celebrate all students who have demonstrated outstanding community involvement. The Student Volunteers Afternoon Tea is open to Year 10, 11, and 12 students.

The Student Volunteers Afternoon Tea will include:
- Certificate of Appreciation for Australian Volunteers
- JB Hi-Fi Voucher
- Inclusion in a social media release on Student Volunteers in Pearce
- Inclusion in a media release to local news highlighting successful schools and their volunteer students
- An opportunity to meet and greet with:
- Tracey Roberts MP, Federal Member for Pearce
- Special Guest: A Federal Minister
- State MLAs and MLCs
- Local Volunteer Legends
Parental Consent
Parental consent will be required for successful students to attend, including permission for any media captured to be used for local promotional purposes. A consent form will be sent to successful applicants for completion and signing.
Important Notes:
- Selected students must be accompanied by either the school’s Student Nominator or their nominated school representative (eg. Principals). A parent and/or guardian is also welcome to attend alongside the school representative and student, however, please note that spots are limited.
- Deadline for submissions: COB Friday 3 April 2026
- Nominations review period: Monday 6 April - Friday 10 April 2026
- Successful Student Nominees notified: Monday 13 April 2026
- Afternoon Tea: Tuesday 28 April 2026, 2:15pm arrival for a 2:30pm start at Mindarie Senior College
